Object Description

This very nice quality Victorian silver travelling apple corer was made in Birmingham in 1838 by John Wilmore and measures 2.5 inches when closed and 4 1/8 inches when in use, it is threaded and has a rope pattern at the threads and is fully hallmarked to the curved blade and also to the handle with maker, lion and monarch, a very neat and compact item as useful as the day it was made.
