Object Description
This Scottish silver punch ladle was made in Glasgow in 1838 by A.A and measures 18 inches long, it has a turned wooden handle leading to a silver stem which narrows to a ball below that leads to a feather designs where it splits to join the bowl, the bowl itself is round and fully and clearly hallmarked and bears the engraved initials of MJ in flowing script to the under side, a very nice ladle of good length in very good condition.
