Object Description
A fine Greek pendant in the shape of an amphora featuring intricate metalwork. Two gold spheres sit on either side of a hoop with a row of granulation curving around them and down to the bottom of the gold neck imitating handles. A cylindrical neck, enriched with delicate filigree, sits above a blue glass bead followed by an ovoid yellow hardstone and a spherical carnelian held in place by a gold pin. An additional loop has been later added in antiquity to the top for suspension.
