This diamond truly is a very special find as, despite the lovely lemony yellow colour, it is actually technically a white diamond. White diamonds are graded from D (whitest) to Z (most yellow), it is the nitrogen in the diamond that causes this yellow colouring. One grade further would have made this a “fancy coloured diamond” and would have had a strong affect on the price. Finding a diamond of this size, beautiful cut and this precise colour is exceptionally rare.
