This is a beautiful heavy antique Edwardian sterling silver tray/salver measuring 12″ (31 cms) across and clearly hallmarked for London 1904 with the silversmiths mark for William Hutton & Sons.
It has super engraved decoration with a lovely bold shaped edge and sits on three feet.
It has a crest engraved in the centre with the motto ‘Malo Mori Quam Foedori’ which means ‘Death Rather than Dishonour’.
It weighs 1162 grams which gives you some idea of the quality and is in excellent condition.
