A fine example of an Edwardian mahogany Hepplewhite design arm or elbow chair.
The chair has an oval back that is inset with ‘Pea’ carving, three upright spats that are fluted and have oval carved patera.
The swept arms also have ‘Pea’ carving and carved patera at its hand rests.
The front legs are square tapering with block toes and are carved to match the chair, the back legs kick out.
The chair has a needlework upholstered seat and is a good example in very good condition. (Circa 1910)
