Object Description
A late 19th century heraldic stained glass roundel depicting the Coat of Arms of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (crowned King Edward VII in 1901).
Prior to his coronation as King, HRH was Prince of Wales from 1841-1901. This small stained glass roundel depicts his crest and as such, it likely dates from this period. Originating from England, it may have once been part of a larger heraldic window perhaps in a castle or royal residence and today can be used as a historical feature of British history.
