Object Description
A rare 18th century Irish mahogany knee-hole cabinet. The superbly carved swan neck cornice with Irish sunflowers, featuring carved garlands of flowers and an egg and dart mouldings, above a single original glass door flanked by Corinthian columns. The central fitted fall front compartment, resting on a knee-hole base fitted with a writing slide, retaining its original brass handles and bracket feet, good original colour and patination throughout.
