Object Description
A silver plate Hip Flask by James Dixon & Sons with black leather rolled with a cross hatched pattern.
The flask has a bayonet fitting to the cap with Dixon’s logo and initials stamped to either side of the neck. The removable cup has a gilt wash to the interior and Dixon’s marks stamped to the underside along with 4 1/2 DWT and the number 3.
Dixon’s were the most prolific makers of such flasks in England and were known for the quality of their work. Circa 1910.
