A rare early English sterling silver drinking cup of tapering cylindrical form with a flared lip and simple reeded foot. The sides have a deep embossed band of flower heads and leafage, a popular Stuart motif. Contains 280 ml. Weight 115 grams, 3.6 troy ounces. Height 9.8 cms. Diameter 8.8 cms. London 1685.
