Object Description

A rare early English sterling silver drinking cup of tapering cylindrical form with a flared lip and simple reeded foot. The sides have a deep embossed band of flower heads and leafage, a popular Stuart motif. Contains 280 ml. Weight 115 grams, 3.6 troy ounces. Height 9.8 cms. Diameter 8.8 cms. London 1685. Maker John Duck.

Object Condition

This splendid silver beaker is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Good clear silver marks.
