Object Description
A late 19th century Japanese bronzed metal figure.
The figure is of an elderly Gentleman with a monkey on his back.
The figure has a bag strapped around his shoulders on which the monkey stands and holds a thin wooden staff in his right hand.
The underside of the base has a moulded mark of Japanese characters.
The figure is in good condition with a minor crack in the back edge of the base. (Circa 1890)
