A late 19th to early 20th century Japanese carved wood curios stand.
The stand has three shelves that have a pewter wire inlay decoration to the front edge.
The sides have three pierced and carved panels of flowers and at the front below the shelves is a carved pierced scroll decoration.
The top shelf has a carved scene of a bird in flowers to the back panel and where the shelves meet the side panel they protrude and are held in place with small wedges.
The stand is unusual and in very good condition. (Circa 1900)
