First edition, published by Gemini G.E.L. & MoMA, 1971.
Contained inside this white plastic box is the potential to create your own collaborative artwork with Jasper Johns. With three paints in the primary colors, a sheet of concentric circles and a paint brush, the outcome appears somewhat predetermined. Included in the box is the catalogue for the MoMA exhibition ‘Technics and Creativity II’, with an essay by Riva Castleman.
The inside images are taken from the archive photographs of the Museum of Modern Art.
