Object Description
Chinese – Kangxi 1662-1722 – blue and white vase with a later silver mount silver lid. the vase originally made c1680 at the kilns at Jingdezhen.
Excellent painting and colour of two Qilins standing on clouds with flames and other clouds. The neck has a band of scrolling ruyi head clouds just below the silver mounts.
The base is with rebated foot rim and a double circle to the base.
