Object Description
Kangxi blue and white porcelain moulded bowl. The bowl has a slightly everted barbed rim.
The moulding is to appear as a lotus or lily bud and the sides have small moulded shaped panels. Each of the panels is painted with a small flower and the rim has a hatched pattern around it with flowers
The inside to the centre is painted with a flower spray and there are trailing sprays from the rim down the top part of the sides.
The base has the fungus / magic mushroom or Lingzhi mark
A very good colour and potting
This bowl may have been part of a sunken cargo as there is a very slight feel of a loss of glaze to the bowl. Difficult to be certain But overall a very good example of this type.
Overall very good. See earlier comments
