Object Description
Chinese early 18th century porcelain blue and white moulded tea bowl and saucer made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi for export to Europe. excellent modelling and painting to show the Mongolian Warrior Pattern. The rim of the tea bowl and edge of the saucer is slightly barbed.
The centre of the saucer and the base of the tea bowl on the inside shows warrior chasing on horseback. The outside and underside of the saucer and around the outside of the tea bowl are painted in the shaped panels with various scenes including ladies, pagodas, Taoist symbols and flowers
the pattern is well pattern and colour excellent
the saucer is 11cm in diameter and the tea bowl is 4cm tall and 6.5cm in diameter
