Object Description
Chinese blue and white early 18th century porcelain pear shaped bottle vase, made at the kilns at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi for export to Europe.
The vase is painted in elongated shaped panels around the main part of the body with either jardinières with flowering plants or Long Elizas in front of a fence. the panels are outlined with a double blue line.
Around the top and the bottom the panels are smaller and filled with flowering plants.
The white metal mounts are probably silver and added at a later date.
