Object Description
Kangxi – Chinese early 18th Century – moulded blue and white bowl. Made at Jingdezhen with excellent potting colour and painting.
The painting to the main part of the bowl shows the Mongolian Warrior Pattern. Shows warriors with spears and bows and arrows with trees, cliffs and animals
The moulded petal shaped panels are in filled with landscape scenes or lotus flowers
The inside has a geometric band with Buddhist emblems. The base painted with a river mountainous landscape and boat.
six character mark to the base which reads as ‘Precious as a Treasured Ding of rare jade’
