Chinese Blue and White moulded blue and white plate made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi c1700
Painted to the centre with a scene known as The Mongolian Hunting Pattern showing a mounted hunter chasing rabbits with his hound. The hunt is taking place in a boulder strewn area with cliffs and trees. The pattern goes over the fluted edge.
The back is painted with linear landscape patterns to the rim and the base with a double circle around a six character attribution mark The mark is one of the more unusual ones referring to Jade.
