Object Description
This is a very beautifully hand painted Chinese Imari porcelain very large Dish or Plate / Platter from the Qing, Kangxi period, 1662-1722, dating to Circa 1700.
The Chinese Export plate is well potted with a carefully cut base rim and a lovely rich glassy white glaze, with a very light blue tinge.
The Dish is finely hand painted with a floral decoration of various flowers, including peonies and chrysanthemums. In red and gold overglazes and blue underglazes. The outside rim is decorated with flower branches. The bottom is marked with a Fungus (Che) mark surrounded by two blue circles.
Overall, a very beautiful, finely hand painted, very large Dish / Plate, made in the Kangxi period when Chinese porcelain was at its zenith.
