Chinese blue and white early 18th century blue and white stepped baluster moulded lidded jars made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi at Jingdezhen for export to Europe.
Painted around the base with shaped panels of jumping boys and jardinières, with peony half flowers at the top between the panels.
The main body is moulded and painted with panels of either Long Elizas (Langen Elizan)holding a spray of flowers in front of a zig zag fence or a large jardinière of flowers.
A spray of willow goes around the neck.
