Object Description
An Ancient Egyptian lapis lazuli amulet, modelled in the shape of a blooming lotus flower. The lotus petals feature well-defined details which have been accomplished through incised fine lines. The amulet features a small loop carved to the top for suspension. Both the obverse and the reverse have been carved with the same design.
Date: Circa 1000 – 500 BC
