Of Persian, early twentieth century origin, this exceptionally fine and delicate item of antique Judaica is a large Sefer (handwritten) Torah scroll. Written in the Sephardic, as opposed to Ashkenazic, form, it is handwritten on parchment, and records the Torah in superb scholarly precision. It is 53cm in height and 29cm in diameter once rolled up. A superb piece, it will be of great interest to those with a love of antique religious items and Judaica in particular.
