LARGE EMPIRE GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE TABLE LAMP WITH SERPENT DECORATION
Early 19th century candlestick converted to a table lamp. Cast gilt leaves surround the top and bottom of the patinated column, supported on three gilt bronze paw feet mounted on a concave tripod base. A gilt bronze snake is attached to the central column.
France, c. 1810. Currently electrified for the UK. Shown with a 22” silk shade available separately.
