Woven in silks and wools depicting Alexander the Great in the midst of battle crossing the Granicus river , surrounded by soldiers and other horsers,
within a border decorated with flowers, masks and medallions. Reduced in size. France, end of the 17th century.
Backed in linen with old restorations throughout and restoration to the border.
