A late 19th century Victorian ebonised rocking chair in the style of the Aesthetic movement.
The chair is designed to fold flat as a campaign chair would and has a rotating bar front and back to lift the rockers off the ground to make the chair a fixed arm chair.
The chair has an upholstered seat, head rest and arm rests and the back has nine ribbed spars.
The chair is in good working order, can be folded away, used as a rocker or made static. (Circa 1890)
