Circa 1830, late George IV mahogany X-framed centre stool. The rectangular shaped stool with its deep buttoned top in velvet. Beneath the seat there is framed mahogany moulding and from this on both ends there is a carved mahogany X frame with foliate carving on the outside and a scroll foot. Where it crosses over there is a large cast brass button in the form of a flower head. The X frames are united by a cross stretcher which is turned and gets more bulbous towards the centre.
