Circa 1890, late Victorian exhibition quality mahogany cabinet bookcase. The dentil style cornice has 2 carved flower heads to either side, with 2 glazed doors beneath featuring raised beadings and ribbed pilasters down the facings. Inside are 3 adjustable pine shelves with mahogany facing, and between this top section and the base is a mirrored back. With 2 long drawers with flame mahogany facings above 2 doors in the bottom section, the interior has adjustable shelves, a pull out slide and a felt lined drawer. With ribbed pilasters continuing down the front, and a carved acanthus leaf to their top, it finished on an enclosed mahogany plinth.
