Object Description
A small leather Collar Box.
The box is a standard round design with a fixing strap coming from the back, over the top and fixing to the front. However, the size is much smaller than a standard collar box.
The box contains three leather collars. It is known that Royal Marines used to wear leather collars but they are typically taller in size and these have no military identification marks to them.
The collar box is a useful size and could be used for storage of small items. The name T. Watson is stamped to the strap. Circa 1900.
The box is the top one in the group shot. The other collar boxes are sold separately.
