Object Description
This leather Shoulder Case is lined in a brown green velvet and was made to carry and protect something specific. It probably held a camera but it may also have been a scientific instrument. The interior is plain without any dividers or fittings making it very practical for modern use as a bag. The replaced, but period, strap loops underneath the case giving it good support. The bottom of the case has 4 stud feet and the top has a fishtail handle allowing it to also be hand carried. The case is well made with good stitching and is still very usable. Early 20th Century.
