Object Description
These two original pencil drawings were produced by Lucy Dawson 1867-1954 (who also worked under the name of ‘Mac’) was famous primarily for her dog portrait work She enjoyed regular commissions and one of her most famous requests was from the Royal family who took her to the Royal Lodge at Windsor to paint their favourite corgi, Dookie. This painting was later reproduced as a family Christmas card for the Windsor’s.
The Corgi measures 8 x 15 cm and the original frame 22 x 22cm and the terrier
