Object Description
A large Luristan master of animals standard finial cast from bronze. The bifacial finial features a central master with crescent shaped arms grasping onto a stylised beast in each hand. The beasts resemble bird like features such as open beaks. A further two heads are visible were the stomach would be which then leads to the legs. The piece flares at the base and is decorated with ridged bands and incised linear, curved and dotted motifs.
