A late 19th to early 20th century mahogany revolving bookstand on a cabriole legged base.
The solid mahogany bookcase top has two levels of book racks which have decorative turned pillars to the sides.
The base has slender cabriole legs with pad feet and a serpentine shaped edge shelf in-between to give strength and which can also hold magazines.
The top revolves on the stand and has a very smooth action.
The underside has a carved and stamped registration number.
The bookcase is in very good condition and could hold up to 72 books of the size we have used for display (The books are not included).
