Set with two drop shape brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.10 carats, flanked by sixteen rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back channel settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats, adorned with fourteen tapered rectangular baguette cut natural sapphires in open back channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats and further set with twenty two tapered baguette cut natural rubies in open back channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.30 carats, to an impressive crossover design featuring curving claws and polished edges, a smooth gallery and fancy shape open backholing, the integrated trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a ridged D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed ‘MRE Mauboussin’, indistinct makers mark, numbered ‘4 1253’, French, circa 1980, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-141.
