Object Description
A charming Meissen porcelain figure of a young servant girl holding a tray with trembleuse cup filled with hot chocolate. Paul Helmig, modeller at the Meissen manufacture, created the Chocolate girl around 1901 and is based on a famous painting by the Swiss painter Etienne Liotard. The painting now hangs in the Gemaelde Gallerie Alte Meister in Dresden.
