Object Description
Ming porcelain blue and white porcelain kraak lidded oblong box with indented corners. The box was made for the European market at the kilns at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Wanli.
Painted to the top with a ‘crow’ perched on rockwork with sunflower. The sides are painted with a cartouche on each side with flowers separated with a geometric design
The inside is split in two compartments
