Object Description
This very nice Commonwealth silver Puritan spoon was made in London in 1658 by Stephen Venebles and measures 6 7/8 inches in length, it is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and in the bowl with the crowned leopards head and also bears the engraved initials IE over EB to the top of the stem, the bowl is well formed and of good gauge and in excellent condition weighing 1.4 ounces or 44 grams.
