Object Description
This early pierced George II silver server was made in London C1752 by Paul Callard and is an early model for the spade/trowel shaped server, it measures 12 5/8 inches in length and has the crest of a boars head to the front of the stem, it is marked on the back of the stem with the makers mark struck 4 times and is nicely pierced to the blade and is in very good condition weighing 5.95 ounces or 185 grams.
