Object Description
A fine Ordos bronze rectangular plaque, cast in the openwork technique. A central zoomorphic figure is presented in an abstract manner, the stylised horns on his head possibly alluding to the depiction of a stag. The animal is bordered by numerous hollowed loops and circles, creating an intricate pattern. The plain reverse features four loop attachments at each corner, suggesting the plaque was attached to fabric.
