Object Description
A fine painted pine cupboard with single door above a drawer fitted into the bottom frieze, decorated with the original dark and pale prussian blue paint, the pale blue panels with floral decoration highlighted in white. An inscription at the top of the door reads: Johann Martin Mann Anno Christi 1817 den 23 Juny. The middle door panel has an inscription which translated reads: Take delight in the Lord and he will give you your hearts desire. Psalm 37. The interior has two rows of the original clothes hanging pegs. Austria, 1817
