A pair of late 19th century Victorian pottery apothecary jars and lids.
The square jars have reverse print glass labels and sloping lids with a knob handle to the top.
The jars have a base colour of white with a dark red decoration to the main body and lid.
The labels are glass fronted with ‘UNG: BORACIS’ and ‘PULV: SACCH: LACT:’ in black print on a white background.
Both jars are original with small chips to the inset lip and both jars have a raised triangular mark underneath. (Circa 1890)
