Crafted from fine porcelain in the Sevres style and set into opulently-decorated gilt bronze frames, these unusual Belle Epoque era vases will make delightful additions to an interior setting.
Each porcelain vase features expertly-painted busts of a woman on white ground inside a parcel-gilt Sevres bleu celeste border. The vases are roughly cylindrical in shape, and each one has a removable gilt bronze and porcelain cover with slanted piercings. These piercings make the vases suitable for containing pot-pourri, as they will allow the scent to diffuse slowly across a room.
The vases are set on three curved gilt bronze legs, with acanthus leaf and laurel wreath decorations, on a triform frame on toupie feet. The top and bottom of each vase is also mounted with a gilt bronze pineapple finial.
