Object Description
A very rare pair of George III Antique silver chambersticks with their original silver wick trimmers made in 1811 by Wright and Fairbairn of Sheffield. The chambersticks are of an unusual oblong shape with a fine gadroon border. All the detachable pieces are hallmarked and each of the wick trimmers has the sterling lion struck on both pieces. They are both in very good condition. Pairs of chambersticks with their original silver trimmers rarely appear on the market. Dimensions 15.5 x 13.7x 10.25 cm (height) Weight 25.25 Troy oz.
