Object Description

These most glamorous and striking centre, side or coffee tables have two tiers of black glass with silver plated bronze legs and mounts in the French Japonaise manner of the Art Deco period, circa 1927-1933. The five-sided scalloped “cloud” tops with mounts, cast to represent a part flower head or Japanese ‘Mon’, are supported by five hexagonal legs and steel plates. Each piece of metal-ware is numbered indicating custom manufacture.
