England & Australia Birds.
‘An English Team’ and ‘An Australian Eleven’ from the original drawings by Harry Bright. A pair of coloured lithographic prints depicting birds native to England and Australia with a subtle cricket title. The images are very vibrant with titles and are framed in new reeded frames with new mounts. These prints were produced in 1893 to commemorate England winning their 5th consecutive home series and regaining the Ashes, having lost them to Australia in 1891-92.
Harry Bright (1847-1896) was a successful English natural history painter.
