This beautiful pair of early 20th Century display cabinets is wrought from giltwood, gilt-metal, glass, and mirror. Each large cabinet is rectangular in shape with canted corners on each of the two front sides. Supported by six tapered and fluted legs, each cabinet contains two glass shelves, which are accessible through the angled doors. The cabinets are glazed on all sides—except the bottom, which is mirrored. The pieces are beautifully finished, including fine detailing such as acanthus-leaf form motifs below the body of the cabinet. Minimalist in design, this pair of cabinets is sure to display its contents to their very best.
