Object Description
Circa 1970. A quality pair of George III style green leather upholstered camel back sofas. The raised and domed back which gives the sofa its name, with the leather held in place by close brass studding. The shaped arms with stylish piping to the front and close brass studding to the sides, beneath the large stuffed oval leather seat there is a double band of close brass studding which continues around the sofa. The three back legs are square, tapering and slightly out swept, front legs are square with reeded sections to the fore edges, united by conforming stretchers. The sofas are in excellent condition: clean, sturdy and stylish.
