Object Description
Pair of large white marble Neoclassical Campana form garden urns
Continental, Late 19th Century
Height 65cm, diameter 50cm
Of late nineteenth century continental origin, these exceptional garden urns are large, carved white marble antique pieces, made in the well-known Campana form – like that of the Medici vase but without the handles. With small square bases, they taper up on slender necks, a section of broad gadrooning and the base of the body, and open up to wide mouths. With some minor deviation in height, they stand approximately 65cm tall, and offer any garden space a fantastic level of antique grandeur, presence, and Classical style.
