Object Description
The pair of antique Nubian figures are sculpted in gilt and patinated bronze, together with woven metal, providing a contrast in colour and texture. The male figures are carrying woven baskets on their backs and held in front of them; both figures are set on square shaped ormolu plinths.
The larger figure measures 42cm in height, the smaller figure is 40cm
