A pair of early 18th century Queen Ann black walnut cabriole leg chairs.
The chairs have high backs with a concave broad central splat that rolls over at the top and a shaped top rail.
The front legs are cabriole in shape with a carved scroll on the inner edge and square back legs.
The legs are joined by elaborately turned and tapering cross rails and stretchers with block joints and a rail between the back legs.
The chairs have drop in pad seats with an embroidered blue coloured material that is not original.
The chairs are in good condition. (Circa 1710)
